Terms of Service

The service

UploadCheck runs automated quality checks on media you submit (via our MCP server, API, or tools built on them) and returns timestamped findings with repair guidance. Plans are metered in checked minutes: each minute of media processed in a check counts once, rounded up per job. Included minutes reset monthly and don't roll over. One-time purchases (the $10 trial and extra-minute packs) don't renew and don't reset.

Guarantee and refunds

Monthly plans carry a month-one guarantee: if you don't like it in your first month, reply to your receipt and your next month is free. You can cancel any subscription at any time and keep your remaining minutes through the end of the paid period. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

Acceptable use

• Only submit media you own or are authorized to check — including URLs you ask us to fetch.
• No attempts to probe, overload, or abuse the service; usage limits and abuse detection apply.
• Keep your API key private. You're responsible for activity under your key; if it leaks, email us and we'll rotate it.

What the checks are — and aren't

Checks are automated and deterministic. They catch the classes of problems they're built for (listed in our docs) and we work to keep them accurate, but no automated check catches everything. UploadCheck is a pre-publish safety net, not a guarantee that your media is flawless, compliant, or fit for any particular purpose. The service is provided "as is".

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost revenue from published or unpublished content.
